The 6 Best Free Survey Sites To Make A Couple Of Extra Bucks

It’s easier than ever to earn money online.

With today’s sharing and gig economy, a regular 9-5 can seem rather passé. If you are the type to want to supplement your income, all you need these days is a working internet connection and a decent laptop.

Obviously you could become an Uber driver, or jump on Fiverr, but one of the simplest and easiest ways to earn a few extra bucks is to take part in online surveys.

There are a lot of factors that will decide how much money you make taking online surveys, ranging from the actual payouts to how much time you sink into it. According to a case study on Upfuel, one surveyor made nearly $250 in a single month, taking surveys from eight different sites.

As you can see, an extra $250 is nothing to scoff at, especially when filling out surveys is something you can do whenever you have a few minutes here and there. This isn’t going to be a full-time job, nor will it be mentally taxing. This is a meant to be a stress-free, low-risk way to supplement your income.

What’s my game plan?

Sign up on many survey sites.

This is just the way the game works. If you want to make money you need to be taking surveys, and survey sites only have so many available for each member to take at any given time. You don’t want to be in situation where you are only signed up at one site and exhaust all the surveys there in one day.

That said, here are six of the best survey sites to get you started.

  1. Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars partners with top research companies to offer paid compensation to its members for taking surveys. You can also use Inbox Dollars to earn cash back while you shop, or sign up for their PaidEmails ® service where they pay you just for reading the emails they send you.

  1. Pinecone Research

Pinecone is a top player in the survey panel industry and are owned and operated by Nielsen. If that sounds familiar, that’s because Nielsen is well known for measuring television ratings. They’re the company that tells you how many millions of people watched Game of Thrones last weekend. Fun fact: it was all of the millions.

  1. My Points

My Points is a behemoth in the paid survey space. Not only can you use their site to get paid taking surveys, you can earn money just for watching videos or making purchases you would have made anyway. One cool perk of working with My Points is that you can convert the points you earn in to air miles.

  1. VIP Voice

VIP Voice is similar to My Points in that they offer compensation in the form of points, they call them VIP Points. They have more than 3 million users and a wide range of surveys to take part in. The surveys are usually short, ranging from 5-15 minutes and invitations are frequent. You can expect to receive about 3-5 a week.

  1. Points Club

Points Club has a nifty reward system in place that makes working with them all the more worthwhile. For every consecutive day you log in, you start a streak. Once your streak is big enough you get placed into a tier that rewards you more than if you were just part of the rank and file. Move up the tiers and get more for your work!

  1. American Consumer Online

ACO offers the usual surveys but they also have online focus groups that tend to pay handsomely. You could earn up to $45 to take part in one of these focus groups. As of August 2017, they’ve paid out more than $30 million in rewards.

By signing up at multiple sites you are able to diversify, and hopefully have more work than you even want. It’s good to have the option to make as much money as you want.

There’s also the issue of not being a good fit for the surveys. Many sites are looking for a specific part of the demographic and if you don’t fall into it for whatever reason, you won’t be able to work. Having many different sites in your digital rolodex means you won’t have to worry too much about that particular issue.

Get started today by signing up at one the survey sites above.

TWO of Motley Fool's 2020 Stock Picks Have Already Quadrupled, ONE has tripled, and another TWO Have Already Doubled in just 9 months of of 2020!

We have been tracking ALL of the Motley Fool stock picks since January 2016. That's 5 years and 120 stock picks. As of Friday, October 23, 2020 the Motley Fool's January 2 stock pick (TSLA) is up 388%, their March 19th pick (ZM) is up 313% in just 7 months, and another two have more than doubled. In addition, 9 of their 2019, 9 of their 2018, 10 of their 2017, 9 of their 2016 and 14 of their 2016 picks have also doubled. Most impressively, over the last 5 years that we have been tracking every recommendation, their average stock pick is up 169%. That beats the SP500 by an average of 124%. And that's even accounting for all of this COVID mess that has wreaked havoc on most stocks. BUT, the Fool has done so well because they have quickly identified stocks this year that will perform well in the post-COVID world. THAT is how the Fool consistently does so well--they adapt and constantly pick stocks before everyone else realizes the opportunities.

  • PINS -- October 1, 2020 pick is already up 19%

So to maximize your returns, you MUST buy them the day they are released. During this POST-COVID market we are in, they have been excellent at picking stocks that will excel.
