Changes to the Prize Pool – Loyalty Points Prize Cancelled
Starting February 1st, there are going to be several changes to the Survivor prize pool:
- The number of Monthly Investor and Trader prizes will decrease from 50 to 10. The reason being that the large number of prizes were difficult to fulfill and the $15 prize was not considered valuable enough. Most Survivors never even bothered to claim it.
- The number of Weekly overall prizes will decrease from 10 to 5.
- The Monthly Loyalty Points prize will be eliminated. As noted before, there has been rampant fraud in friend referrals in an effort to win this prize.
- The Daily random prize for placing a trade will decrease from $50 to $25.
- The overall yearly prize pool will decrease from $250,000 to $100,000.
Unfortunately, these changes are due to the economic downturn and the reduced advertising rates we have been able to secure for your participation in the game. Nonetheless, Wall Street Survivor will continue to be a free service so that anyone can learn how to trade stocks and experienced traders can experiment with new trading strategies.

Nothing in the announcement says Loyalty Points will be discontinued, but nothing says that they will be continued, either.
Would you please clarify this point?
Thank you
Loyalty Points will continue as they are.
I don’t see the loyalty points reflected into my account since I have referred my friend a week ago. How does that work?
opnote: your referred friends each need to make 12 trades and then you will see your loyalty points credited to your account.
