Redeem Loyalty Points for Amazon Gift Cards

Written by Mark Berger

Amazon Gift cardSoon, Survivors will be able to redeem their Loyalty Points for Amazon gift cards.

For a while now, Survivors could redeem Loyalty Points for site specific products like Real-Time Quotes and Portfolio resets. This is the first time that Points can be redeemed for stuff outside of Wall Street Survivor.

The first two denominations of Amazon Gift cards that will be offered are $5.00 (for 50,000 Loyalty Points) and $10.00 (for 100,000 Loyalty Points). If there is support for larger denominations ($20, $30, etc.) we will create those, also.

*Amazon.com is not affiliated with Wall Street Survivor and does not endorse this offer.

WSS,
I think you have some serious glitches affecting the outcomes of the rankings and true portfolio values. I noticed that boo boo who was ranked #1 at the end of the trading today shows a starting Portfolio balance of 4,366.43 and miraculously now it’s 102,135.65 since the start of the contest. I also noticed that in the top 40 rankings in the trader’s rankings that only 4 traders had a starting portfolio balance of 100,000 or over. There is no way that the remaining 36 traders who ended the last contest with a balance of less than 100,000 are now dominating the top 40 of this contest. In fact most of the traders now dominating this contest have starting portfolio balances of between 50,000 to 75,000. I think there is a starting balance glitch affecting the rankings in which traders starting this new contest with fewer than 100,000 are being glitched into outrageous percentage returns from either improper Portfolio start values, or improper market gains on their current trades.

Randy,
Thanks for your comment. You are absolutely right that the leaderboards are not working properly at the moment. Also, Survivors (eg., BooBoo) who reset poor portfolios to $100,000 are getting credited with amazing Portfolio percentage gains. This isn’t right, of course.

Rest assured that we are aware of the problems and are working to fix them. Also, no prizes are awarded before we audit all portfolios and confirm their legitimacy, at the end of the week.

Thanks for your patience and enthusiasm for the game. We are always striving to make the game fair for everyone.
